Kansas Jayhawks to Host Open Practice for Fans on April 11

The Kansas Jayhawks will host an open practice on Saturday, April 11, at Lawrence High School, giving fans a chance to see the team in action as they prepare for the 2026 season. Starting at 11 a.m., this event marks the 12th practice of spring football under sixth-year head coach Lance Leipold. Gates will open at 10 a.m., and the practice is free to the public, with parking available at the venue. Fans can enjoy a family fun zone, music from the Kansas band, and a post-practice meet and greet with players and coaches. The 2026 roster includes 32 transfer portal additions and key returners like offensive tackle Calvin Clements and wide receiver Cam Pickett. Additionally, offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki will lead the team, aiming to build on past successes. After the practice, fans can also catch Kansas baseball and softball games, making it a full day of Jayhawks athletics.
